Two Types of Certification:
To become an Overly Door Certified Installer, with certification to install our special purpose doors and windows, Overly offers two types of installation programs for any of the products we manufacture. The first type is Customer Order Specific; the second type is General Training for an Entire Product Line.
CUSTOMER ORDER SPECIFIC INSTALLATION TRAINING PROGRAM
For customers or installers who need certification to install our products for a specific project, but who do not want or need to become a full-fledged authorized installer, Overly offers, free of charge, the opportunity for the installer to visit our Overly Greensburg, PA location and review the installation requirements for an individual order.
There is no cost for the time spent to obtain the training. Any travel, food and lodging costs are to be paid for by the organization receiving the training.
This type of review normally takes place after “As Built” drawings and details released for fabrication have been completed, but prior to shipment of the project.
During this training, there is a complete review of everything being provided for the project by Overly Door Company, including the approved shop drawings, packing lists, delivery/storage and installation requirements. It is important to note that those who attend the training are responsible for overseeing and approving all work completed, even if they are not on the job-site at all times.
At the end of this training, a Certificate of Completion is issued based on the products provided for that individual project.
GENERAL TRAINING FOR AN ENTIRE PRODUCT LINE
The general training program consists of reviewing in detail the installation requirements of any or all of the complete product lines of specialty doors and fixed window systems manufactured by Overly. The product lines to choose from include Acoustical, Blast and Pressure, Bullet-Resistant, and GSA/DOS Vault Doors and accessories.
This training is designed to be the foundation for making you an independent authorized factory installation representative.
The acoustical product line training takes 3 to 3-1/2 days and can vary depending on the amount of experience with installation of this product. The Blast and Pressure, GSA/DOS and Bullet Resistant product lines take approximately 1/2 day for each product line.
There is no cost for the time spent to obtain the training. Any travel, food and lodging costs are to be paid for by the organization receiving the training.
At the end of this training, a Certificate of Completion is issued based on the entire product line and the firm will be added to our list of factory certified installers that appear here on our website.
If you have a group interested in obtaining any of the training, please contact us us with an overview of what training you are looking for and we will get back to you with more detailed information.
